Can I set my Loop to only display certain albums?Updated a month ago

📂 How do I hide an album or show different albums on different Loop frames?

Whether you want your living room Loop to show different photos than the one in the kitchen, or you’re just rotating albums to keep things feeling fresh, Loop makes it easy to customize which albums appear on each frame.

You can even keep albums private—stored safely in your app but hidden from view on your frame—until you're ready to display them.

Here’s how to do it ⬇️

  1. Open the Loop app

  2. Tap Menu > Frame Settings

  3. If you have more than one frame, select the one you want to customize

  4. Tap “Albums on this Loop”

  5. Toggle albums on or off depending on what you want that frame to display

Albums you turn off will still be available in the app, so you can always toggle them back on when you’re ready. You can always send photos to albums whether they are toggled on or off!

How to make sure it worked:

Tap your frame screen, then tap Albums on the frame. If the albums you toggled off don’t show up, you’re all set!

If changes don’t appear right away:

  • Try exiting the Albums screen on the frame and reopening it

  • Still not updating? Press and hold the power button on the back of the frame until you see “Loop is shutting down,” then reboot the frame

⏰ Want to quickly show just one album temporarily?

You don’t have to change any settings—just tap the frame, tap the album you want, and it will rotate only through that album until you change it.

To go back to seeing all of your albums, just tap the frame again, tap Albums, and then select All Photos.

It’s a great way to highlight a recent event or share a specific memory set without changing your album settings in the app.
