How to Rename or Delete an AlbumUpdated 2 months ago

Let’s be real—sometimes you name an album in a rush, and suddenly, you’re stuck with “Photos” or “Random Stuff” forever. 😬 But don’t worry, you’re not doomed to vague album names forever. Here’s how to give your album the name it truly deserves (or at least something better than “Untitled”).

Steps to Rename an Album:

  1. Open the Loop App 📱
  2. Tap Albums at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select the album you want to rename.
  4. Tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
  5. Select Rename Album (it’s the second option under the header).
  6. Tap Continue (this renames everyone's copy of the album).
  7. Type in your new, improved album name.
  8. Hit Save, and boom—your album is officially upgraded to its new title.

Now go ahead and give your album a name that actually makes sense—like “Vacation Chaos 2023” or “Mom’s Questionable Photography.” 😉

Looking to delete an album entirely? We've got instructions for that, too.

Steps to Delete an Album:

1. Open the Loop App 📱

2. Tap Albums at the bottom of the screen.

3. Select the album you want to delete.

4. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner (next to the select button).

5. Scroll down to the last menu item, which says "Delete Album."
