I was invited to share photos to someone's Loop frameUpdated a month ago

So, you’ve been invited to share your favorite photos to someone’s Loop frame? First of all, congratulations! That means they think you’re awesome enough to deserve a spot on their cherished photo rotation. Here’s the deal: to get started, you’ll need to download our free Loop app. We promise it’s quick, easy, and worth it. 👍

Why Download the App?

For now, the Loop app is how we make sure only the right people can send photos to a Loop frame. Think of it as a quick handshake to confirm, “Yep, you’re invited!” Once you’ve set everything up, you’ll have access to the easiest way to share your favorite memories.

You have two options for sharing photos to someone's frame: The free Loop app or text messaging photos. This article covers sending via the app, but click here to see the text messaging option instead.

Let’s walk through the steps so you can get started:

📲 Download the Free Loop App:

Head over to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for “Loop Family.” Hit download.

📂 Create a Quick Account:

Open the app and sign up with your name and email.

💌 Follow the Invite Instructions:

Make sure the Loop frame owner has sent you an invite to a specific album on their frame. This is how you’ll know where your photos will appear.

Do I Have to Keep the Loop App Forever? 🤔

We get it—app overload is real. 💯 Loop also has a fantastic feature called Text to Frame! This lets you text photos directly to the Loop frame without needing to open the app again. It’s perfect for when you’re on the go and just want to share a quick memory.

Once you’ve successfully set up your phone number, selected the correct album, and tested the feature, feel free to delete the app altogether if you'd like. You’ll still be able to text single photos to the Loop frame whenever you want. 🎉

➡️ Don’t forget: You will need the app if you want to send videos or bulk photo uploads.

How It Works:

  • Save the Loop frame’s number in your contacts (example: “Grammie’s Loop”) so you can easily text photos.

  • Double-check the number before texting—mistyping even one digit might send your photos somewhere unexpected, like the coffee shop down the street instead of Grandma’s frame!

A Quick Reminder 💨

  • One Photo at a Time: Texting only supports one image per message. For videos or multiple photos, you’ll need to use the Loop app.

That’s it! We’re so excited for you to share your favorite memories with their Loop frame. Whether it’s a snapshot of a goofy pet, a beautiful sunset, or your latest selfie masterpiece, we know it’ll bring a smile to their face. Have fun, and happy sharing!
