How to Use the Share Sheet to Send Photos to Loop (Android)

Want to send a photo to Loop right from your Android’s photo gallery—without manually opening the Loop app and hunting for the image again? That’s where Android’s built-in Share menu comes in. It launches the Loop app for you, making the process quick and intuitive—especially when you’re already scrolling through your photo library and come across a memory worth sharing.

📱 Note: This is just one optional way to send photos to your Loop frame! You can always start directly in the Loop app or set up our exclusive text-to-frame feature to make sharing even easier.

What is the Android Share Menu?

The Share menu is the list of apps that pops up when you tap the Share icon (the three connected dots or sideways-V symbol). You’ve probably used it to send photos via text message or social media. Now, you can send photos to your Loop frame right from your gallery.

When you tap Loop in the Share menu, the Loop app will automatically open, and your selected photo(s) will be preloaded and ready to go. You’ll just choose the album, and tap send!

Why use the Share Menu?

  • It’s even faster. Start in your Gallery, tap share, and Loop handles the rest.
  • It helps you find old memories. Browsing your photo library by person, date, or location makes it easy to pick meaningful moments.
  • It’s seamless. The Loop app opens with your photo(s) ready to go—you just choose the album and hit send.
