Customizing Your Loop Frame Slideshow SettingsUpdated a month ago
Loop is proud to offer you the flexibility to personalize your frame’s settings so it displays photos exactly the way you prefer. These settings can be adjusted directly on the frame or remotely through the app. If you’re managing a frame for someone else, like an elderly family member, you can conveniently control their settings from your own device.

| 1. Tap your frame's screen anywhere on the photo. 2. Select "Settings." 3. Tap "Slideshow Settings." |
Things You Can Customize on Your Loop
🖼️ Photo Display
- Two photos side by side: Ideal for vertical smartphone photos as it fills the screen without cropping or panning. Two images will be automatically paired for side-by-side viewing... twice the photos with every rotation!
- Show entire photo: Displays one photo at a time without any zooming or panning, keeping the original proportions with blurred margins.
- Fill entire screen: This option zooms in and pans photos to make use of the full screen.
⏲️ Adjust the Photo Transition Time to control how quickly photos change on your Loop's slideshow. You can select a speed that works best for your viewing preference. Please note: You can also always manually swipe forward or backward through photos on your Loop's touchscreen and the auto-slideshow will pick up where you leave off!
🔀 Photo Shuffle: Choose to play photos in the order they are uploaded or turn the shuffle button on to let Loop show your memories in random surprise order!
Once you’ve made your changes, tap the back arrow in the upper left corner to return to the previous screen. This step saves your settings.
Troubleshooting and Tips ⬇️
Remote Control for Frames: If you’re the account owner for a frame that belongs to someone else, you can adjust their settings remotely through the Loop app. This is especially helpful for elderly family members who may not want to manage the settings themselves. Settings can always be managed on the touchscreen, too!
Saving Changes: If changes made on the frame don’t save, try updating the settings through the app instead. Similarly, if app changes don’t seem to apply, adjust them directly on the frame.
Syncing Issues: Occasionally, settings may not sync immediately. Try exiting and reopening the app or turning the frame off and back on to ensure the updates are applied.
By exploring these options, you can create the perfect viewing experience for your Loop frame, whether it’s for yourself or someone you care for. If you have any issues or questions, our support team is happy to help at [email protected].
