How can I organize photos on my frame?Updated a month ago

Albums are a powerful feature of your Loop frame that make organizing, sharing, and enjoying your favorite memories easier and more meaningful. Whether you’re curating special moments for yourself or sharing them with loved ones, albums provide the flexibility to tailor your Loop experience.

Please note: If you would rather simplify your Loop experience, you can just create one "General" album which houses all of the pictures that will be sent to your Loop frame! Multiple albums are not necessary - just a little bonus feature that can be

What Are Albums?

Albums are collections of photos that you can create and customize within the Loop app. Think of them as digital photo albums that can be viewed on your Loop frame. Instead of a single, endless slideshow of all your photos, albums let you organize your memories into categories or themes.

Why Create Albums?

Here are a few great reasons to create albums on your Loop frame:

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Share Specific Photos with Certain People:

  • Want to share your beach vacation with your siblings without including photos from your kids’ soccer games? Albums let you pick and choose which photos to share with whom.

🌎 Document Trips or Events:

  • Albums are perfect for organizing photos from a specific trip, event, or milestone. For example, create a "Hawaii Vacation" album to relive and share those memories easily whenever friends or family visit.

  • With albums, there’s no need to scroll endlessly through your phone’s photo library to find that one perfect shot.

📂Keep Your Frame Organized:

  • Rather than displaying every photo in one massive slideshow, you can create themed albums to better curate your frame’s display. Examples include “Family Holidays,” “Kids’ Achievements,” or “Pets.”

How Do Shared Albums Work?

Albums aren’t just for personal use—they’re great for collaboration! Here’s how it works:

  • Shared Access: If you share an album with someone, they can see all the photos you’ve added to that album, as well as photos that other contributors to that album have shared. This can be a wonderful way to stay connected and share photos with family... even if they don't all have a Loop frame yet.

  • Collaboration: Those with access to the album can also upload their own photos, making it a shared space for memories.

  • Privacy by Album: Contributors can only see photos in the album that was shared with them. They won’t have access to other albums or photos on your frame.

👉 The member(s) you invite to your shared album(s) will need to download the Loop app and create a free account. Then, they will be able to shared photos or verify their phone number to use our exclusive "Text to Frame" feature!

Shared albums are perfect for:

  • Family members contributing to a "Grandkids" album for grandparents.

  • Group trips where everyone uploads their photos to a shared album.

  • Collaborating on special events like weddings or anniversaries.
