My Frame's Screen Has Lines Through ItUpdated 2 months ago
If you’re seeing lines on your Loop frame screen, don’t panic — this is almost always a quick fix.
Step 1: Check for the Screen Protector (Most Common Fix)
Every Loop frame ships with a clear protective film on the screen to prevent damage during transit. If this film is left on, it can cause:
- Horizontal or vertical lines
- A streaked or “striped” look
- Uneven brightness across the display
What to do:
Look closely for the screen protector, it's a small, clear tab in the lower left hand corner of the screen
Gently peel off the clear protective film
See if that solved the issue by swiping through some photos and seeing if you still see any lines
Step 2: Email Support if Problem Persists
In the vast majority of cases, removing the screen protector resolves the issue immediately, but if your problem is not solved and the lines are still visible, please:
Snap a photo of the screen (as clearly as possible)
