My Loop frame keeps rebooting or just shows a black screenUpdated 11 days ago

‼️IMPORTANT‼️

👉 If your Loop keeps powering off or won't turn on, please first make sure it is plugged in using the provider wall block into a wall outlet. We have had some customers with power issues using only the USB or plugging the frame in to a piece of furniture with an outlet instead of directly into the wall. In those cases, using the wall block and a wall outlet immediately solved the power issues.😊

If you have tried the above and you're still having problems... please see below.

Why does my Loop Frame Show a black screen?

We’re here to ensure you have a fully functioning Loop frame to enjoy your cherished memories. A small number of Loop frames were shipped with a USB wall adapter that doesn’t meet our specifications. If your frame appears to start up but then displays a blank or black screen, this could be the cause. No need to worry - we will send you a replacement adapter free of charge!

👀 What You Might Notice

  • Your frame may have worked initially but now won’t move past the black screen.
  • Restarting the frame shows the Loop logo briefly before returning to a blank screen.
  • The screen looks like it’s on but remains blank (this is easier to spot in darker environments).

Below is an example of what this issue might look like on your Loop 👇

🔌How We’ll Fix It

Please contact our customer support team so we can send you a replacement wall adapter free of charge. You can reach out by sending an email to [email protected].

In your message, please include:

  • When you purchased your Loop (an approximate month and year is fine).

  • The name and shipping address where we should send the replacement.

Once you receive the new adapter, simply plug it in, and your frame will be back to normal. If your frame was previously set up, all your photos will appear just as they were—nothing will be lost! If the issue ever reoccurs or the replacement adapter doesn't fix it - just let us know the adapter didn't fix the problem and we promise to get you taken care of.

⏰While You Wait

If you have a spare USB charger at home, you can use it temporarily while waiting for the replacement. Make sure the charger meets is at least 10W or 2.0 amps.

Many chargers, especially for tablets or fast-charging smartphones, are likely to work. Please note that lower-powered chargers may still cause the same issue.

We’re happy to help get your Loop frame back up and running—thank you for your patience!
